Kildare Route Project

The Kildare Route Project was part of Transport 21, Ireland’s transport infrastructure plan, and added two new tracks to existing tracks running west from Dublin’s Heuston Station. The project was part of essential infrastructure improvements to enable the westward expansion of the city, and a series of stations were built to service new commuter settlements.

We were appointed to design two new stations which were constructed above the operational railway.

Clondalkin Fonthill Station

New station, including platforms, two ticket hall concourses, ticket offices & other service rooms. There is also a platform for the proposed Dart Underground project.

Kishogue Station

New station constructed over existing & new tracks, which includes platforms, a ticket hall concourse, ticket offices & other service rooms.
